Shipping policy

Shipping  Policy
1. Fees:

a. Orders below R1500 will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of R90 for major cities and R125 for outlying areas.

b. Orders above R1500 will enjoy free local shipping.
(Therefore group your orders with your friends and order together)

2. Shipping conditions:
a. We will always attempt to dispatch all orders within 72 hours on receipt of payment (if we have stock) or within 72 hours on receipt of stock (if stock had to be imported).

b. For items that that we have “in stock” (this means the goods are in South Africa and available for shipping), please allow a shipping time of 2-5 working days after payment has been made.

c. For items that we do not have stock of and need to be ordered (for example Kpop albums), please allow for 25-30 working days for the items to arrive in South Africa and dispatched to you.

d. The courier company we use work weekdays only from 8:00 -17:00. Therefore, please ensure the delivery address you provide will allow you to be available between the above times.

Sometimes, unfortunate events such as customs delay occur and as a result, may delay your shipment. Qute and Quirky cannot be held responsible for such delays as it is out of our control. However, should the delay exceed 30 working days, you as the customer can choose to cancel your order and be refunded your amount paid or wait a little longer (I promise the wait is worth it… we will be sure to throw in some freebies for the wait).


e. Version preferences
Please note that version preferences is dependent on stock availability and therefore we unfortunately are unable to guarantee version preferences. We will however always try our best to send your version preference. 

2. Parcel Liability

Introduction:
This Parcel Liability Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions governing the liability and responsibility for parcels once they leave our premises. Please read this Policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities when it comes to the handling and delivery of parcels.

1. Parcel Handover:
Once a parcel leaves our premises, the responsibility for the safe and timely delivery of the parcel shifts to the designated courier service provider. We ensure that parcels are securely packaged and handed over in good condition to the courier.

2. Courier Responsibility:
The designated courier service provider is solely responsible for the parcel from the moment it is accepted into their possession until the recipient signs for its delivery. This includes all handling, transport, and any potential incidents that may occur during the delivery process.

3. Proof of Delivery:
It is the responsibility of the courier service provider to obtain a signature or other proof of delivery from the recipient as evidence that the parcel has been successfully delivered. We will not be responsible for disputes related to the proof of delivery.

4. Tracking and Monitoring:We encourage senders and recipients to utilize any available parcel tracking systems provided by the courier service to monitor the progress and location of the parcel during transit.

5. Exceptional Circumstances:
In the event of exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseeable events that may affect the timely delivery of a parcel, neither our company nor the courier service provider will be held liable for delays or damages caused by these events.

6. Additional Insurance:
If senders require additional insurance coverage for high-value parcels, it is their responsibility to arrange this with the courier service provider or a third-party insurer.

7. Reporting Issues:
Any concerns, issues, or disputes related to the delivery of parcels should be directed to the courier service provider responsible for the delivery. Our company is not involved in the resolution of such matters.

8. Changes to Policy:
This policy is subject to change at our discretion. Any updates will be communicated through our official channels.
